Among Us sends you on a covert space mission aboard a ship or outpost. This multiplayer experience assigns each player a hidden role at the start: either a Crewmate or an Impostor, and your objectives depend on that role.
The Mission of Each Role
If you’re a Crewmate, your primary job is to finish assigned tasks across the map while observing others to spot suspicious behavior. Tasks usually involve repairing or maintaining ship systems and equipment. If you discover a fallen teammate, report the body and participate in discussions to vote out suspects. Crewmates win by completing all tasks or successfully ejecting every Impostor.
If you’re an Impostor, your aim is to secretly eliminate Crewmates without arousing suspicion. You can fake tasks, sabotage ship systems to create distractions, and use vents or hidden routes to move unseen. A skilled Impostor sows confusion and divides the crew so eliminations go unnoticed.
How to Maneuver
Move your character around the map using the arrow keys. Additional action controls appear in the lower-right corner of the screen to help you interact with tasks, sabotage, reports, and meetings.
